Affects the deep tissues. This technique helps relieve chronic muscular pain and aids in the treatment of injuries. Generally, this is used with other techniques such as Swedish massage. This type of treatment is not recommended for first-time clients.
Energy Work/Chakra Balancing:
This type of therapy deals with the seven energy centers or chakras of the body. By the use of special stones, crystals, and the therapist's energy, this helps the patient rebalance energy in the body, by stimulating, unblocking, or dispersing it. The result is a greater sense of energy and wellbeing.
Swedish Massage:
A combination of kneading, rolling, vibration, percussion and tapping movements, along with the application of oil or cream, which reduces friction on the skin. Benefits include improved circulation, reduction of swelling, improved healing, as well as relaxation.
Trigger Points:
This therapy is used to release pain. The elimination of trigger points can help to reduce referred pain and improve overall range of motion. It helps promote flexibility to the tissues. It can also help in rebuilding the strength of an injured area, restore proper posture, better biomechanics, and can assist in the flow of bodily fluids throughout the system.
